La lista de honorarios dispuesta sobre la mesa esperaba a que el primer cliente entrara en su modesto bufete. Había decidido arriesgarse a ejercer por su cuenta, dada la escasez de ofertas recibidas desde que terminó la carrera.
Sintió un sobresalto cuando sonó el timbre de la puerta. Al abrir, el corazón le latía golpeando el pecho. Se encontró frente a una anciana de cuerpo cansado y ojos enrojecidos. Sentadas una junto a la otra, logró tranquilizarla. Solo entonces se atrevió a hablar. Le contó sus años de lucha, tras mucho investigar, para obtener la licencia que le permitiese remover la arena, en la linde del cementerio. Había descubierto que allí fusilaron a su padre.
Ahora, con la Ley de la Memoria Histórica en las manos y su ayuda, al fin, sus restos descansan en paz.
