Justo antes de empezar el juicio le repito a Juanjo, mi defendido, que hable con educación, pero lo menos posible. Que nos conocemos.
Él solo debe declararse culpable de haber robado el ramo de flores de la novia, y yo me encargo de conseguir una indemnización que no le arruine.
En cuanto se pone en pie cojo la carpeta del expediente para abanicarme.
—Señor juez, le puedo certificar que yo no sabía que le iba provocar tal soponcio a la madre de la novia que la boda tendría que anularse. El ramo me pareció tan bonito que pensé que, si se lo regalaba a Amparo, querría casarse conmigo.
—¿Quién es Amparo?
—¡Achís! — improviso un estornudo como medida desesperada—. Disculpe, Señoría, es la alergia.
Juanjo me mira y se tapa la boca con las manos. A ver cómo le explica al juez que quiere casarse con su hija.

Delicada situación para tu defendido. No quisiera verme en su pellejo (y en el de la novia tampoco). Ya nos contarás si hay boda, aunque sea sin ramo.
