Uno maldecía una inhumana alambrada; aunque yo no atendía; tenía miedo, porque la barca se movía mucho. Pero una vez, el mar se volvió loco y nos hundimos; mi padre me sujetaba; pero al rato me soltó para que me salvaran unos hombres. Más tarde, estuve en un campo y me llamaban refugiado. Hasta que ustedes me acogieron. Y ahora podré seré abogado; como mis padres deseaban.
“Pues claro que lo serás, Hamán”.
Mi madre tenía razón: gracias por su compasión; les pagaré trabajando mucho.

I started the hunt with a 38mm Omega Speedmaster but the link oval-shaped subdials didn’t sit right with me. On to the Tudor Black Bay 36 which I just wanted to be a Rolex, plus the Arabic numerals were missing and this was something I decided was integral to the tool genre. I thought about looking into an IWC Pilot’s Watch in 36mm but I needed to start with a brand I was familiar with to slowly ease into the game.
