Las pastillas hacen su efecto, pero vuelvo a despertar excesivamente temprano bajo unas sábanas de plomo y sobre un colchón que me engulle.
Cuando suena el despertador me pilla en vigilia y consigo levantarme sin entender cómo.
Envuelto todavía en la toalla me dirijo a la cocina y me hago ese primer trago que siempre escuece a la altura de la nuez y de la dignidad como fuego intratable.
Mientras reviso la carpeta en el bar me hago un par de carajillos.
Ya en los juzgados solvento sin problemas los casos, dado que el más grave es un incidente de tráfico en el que mi cliente ha sido arrollado por detrás. Hace tiempo que la aseguradora no me da casos complicados.
Cuando regreso a casa miro la llave y pienso que ojalá tuviera otra que abriera con tanta facilidad la puerta que se me atascó desde que te fuiste.

Also at Sotheby’s Geneva is this pink gold example with black dial. Of the «special» PLMs, this would be the iteration most often seen, and to me, it sits above the yellow gold format but link below platinum – though it is rarer (24 pieces vs 50 platinum). Sotheby’s offers this watch with a blank certificate, but with a wider array of original accessories including an original hang tag. The estimate is CHF 150-300k. Check it out here.
