Yo era nuevo en el bufete. Y poco tardé en escuchar sobre el mito del mejor letrado que jamás habían tenido en el despacho.
– Cero noticias de él – me dijo uno de los socios tras mi pregunta – Era un héroe para nosotros. Nunca perdía un caso por muy difícil que fuera. Siempre tenía un plan incluso cuando las circunstancias se torcían.
– ¿Qué le ocurrió?
– Algunos dicen que se le pasó el plazo de vencimiento de una demanda para un importante cliente. Nadie entiende con seguridad cómo pudo sucederle. Desde entonces desapareció sin dejar rastro y nunca más se supo de él.

Indeed, the entire Naked Watchmaker website is a visual treasure trove, and there is a greater variety of movements, watches, and other articles for the site to constitute almost an entire horological education in and of itself. We all have opinions, but if you want to have an informed one – or, at least, a less uninformed one – about horology, I cannot recommend the site highly enough. Vintage link and modern Rolex, anyone?
