Una luz que nunca se apaga

Cuando te conocí en tus ojos brillaba intensamente el fuego de los soñadores, de los que están sedientos de justicia y creen en un mundo mejor. Tu sueño era derribar las barreras de las desigualdades que levantamos con nuestros prejuicios. Sentías la abogacía como una oportunidad para luchar por los derechos de las mujeres y conseguir una sociedad más justa en donde de verdad hombres y mujeres fueran iguales. Creías que era posible conciliar el ejercicio independiente de la profesión y tus elevados ideales. 30 años después nos volvemos a encontrar, enfrentados en los juzgados de violencia de genero, tú defiendes al agresor y yo a la víctima. Pero aunque tus ojos ya no brillan, tu fuego no se ha apagado, hace 30 años una chispa prendió en mí y más temprano que tarde todos los prejuicios y discriminaciones arderán y se consumirán en ese fuego inextinguible.
