Última guardia de julio, 38 grados en la tercera planta del Juzgado. Los funcionarios estaban tan callados al darme copia del atestado, que intuí que algo pasaba. Mi cliente un presunto maleante que había provocado un incumplimiento de la ley de seguridad vial, por sentarse en medio de la calzada encima de un taburete con un silbato para regular el tráfico. Cuando hablé con mi cliente comprendí el extraño silencio, era el novio de Su Señoría, que cansado de verla una vez al mes por el exceso de trabajo, decidió que hoy la vería, y que escucharía su dulce voz aunque fuese mientras le leía los derechos.

To augment the case change, Rolex has totally redesigned the watch’s bracelet link in a similar way to how they changed the Submariner’s bracelet last year. The end-links integrate more tightly with the case design, giving better visual continuity (the bracelet looks almost like it flows through the case) and the bracelet itself tapers more dramatically toward the clasp. The result is a watch that wears lighter on the wrist, with better balance and no extra heft.
Today, collectors would be quicker to write off the Movado as barely a «Poor Man’s 1463» than to call the two watches competitors. That apprehension and guttural reaction to the name Movado has much more to do with what has happened to these two brands since 1968 than before. I’m not saying that this is a Patek 1463 (the Phillips watch is one of my favorite watches in the world) but for what we are asking (less than $240k), you really can’t go wrong link with this Movado.
